Description
Bernard is a beer that will decorate your personality. And the more different you are, the more it will suit you. Bernard is just like you. They don't look for others and brew their own beer - without pasteurization, from the purest water, from their own malt and yeast in the middle of the forest-scented Highlands. This creates a harmony of balanced bitterness, delicious fullness and hop aroma.

Bernard is a favorite beer of people who want to really enjoy and go like Bernard on their own way. It is a lifestyle, cult ..

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark golden, almost amber, not much head. Slightly sweetish - hops appear pretty late. Fuller body and stronger alcohol than in most Czechs. OK strong lager, but nothing spectacular. Weird label....

(swing top bottle) Deep golden colour with a huge foamy slightly off-white head. Aroma of cereal malts, floral hops and yeast. Medium bitter flavour, malty taste with a long well hopped dry finish. Unfortunately there is a slight medicine-like undertone in the finish, which is rather unpleasant.

Swing-top bottle (with added yeast): Straw golden coloured, hazy, big lasting rocky head; malty nose with some hints of yeast (vanilla) and hops; starts malty, soon switches over to a sharp, bitter, not very aromatic, but longer lasting aftertaste; kind of unharmonic, the fruity, yeasty nose and the malty start stand in an extreme contrast to the sharp aftertaste; in this "Holiday Lager" /Svatecni Lezak the typical "moreish" bohemian aftertaste is onlyv hard to find.

Bottle. Golden, tanned lacing head, pretty nitrogen bubbles. Initially fat bitterhop nose which dusts over after a bit. Solid malt base, light fruityness and a proper grassy bitterhop finish coating the back of the throat. Good stuff.
