350ml bottle [Cubanero]. Clear golden colour with small, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Muggy, grainy aroma, wet strawy, some malt spiciness. Taste is monotonous, minimally sweet pale malty, slightly grainy and strawy. Not absolutely "fuerte", but definitely for a Pale Lager.

35cl bottle at La Cubanita Haarlem, as Palma Cristal. Straight from the bottle. Aroma is grainy, malty, light grassy. Flavour is malty, light grainy, light fizzy, light bitter finish. Light bodied. Standard macro lager, but nothing off here. OK for what it is.

Cans of this are the ’stock’ beer for the in room mini-bars in Playa Pesquero where I spent a couple of weeks recently, so drunk in some quantity due to its unlimited availability. It’s a reasonable pale lager for a hot Cuban day, lacks some of the taste of Cristal/Cacique but easily drinkable and better than Bucanero. Pale golden colour, average pale lager carbonation, some floral notes, a refreshing and inoffensive brew.

Can located in a store in Holguin, Cuba. Pours a golden yellow colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of corn, grass and malt. Rather thin, though crisp and as Cuban lagers go, of those I’ve tried, this is second to Cristal.

Lys brun farge med hvitt skum. Lukter søtlig malt. Lettdrikkelig lager. Kort bitter avslutning.

Klar gylden brun med lavt hvitt skum. Lukter svært lite, noe maltantydning. Lett søtlig smak.

Clear pale yellow beer, creamy white head, unstable, falls down immediately, non adhesive. Aroma: bit malty, grains, hay, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some citrus, little bitter, grains, bit malty, some grassy hops. Aftertaste: little bitter, refreshing, bit malty, not too bad, nice finish. Was expecting way worse.

Lys brun klar med lavt hvitt skum som forsvinner fort. Honning og maltlukt. Vannete med noe sødme og lett, lett bitter avslutning. Mye kullsyre

Clear golden colour , not too much white head; aroma of grains, hay, floral hops and maybe some minimal tropical fruit, taste is dominated by malty sweetness with some floral hoppy notes; no side-taste, correct lager

Bottle, 0.35l. Clear golden color with medium frothy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of hay, citrus and cereals. Taste starts moderate sweet malty, follows by grassy and grainy acidity with spicy mouthfeel and moderate unpleasant bitter finish. Light body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Too sweet and alcoholic...
