Description
On a small abandoned farm back in 2002 William Frank and Else Birk started a small brew house focusing on quality and good craftsmanship. The brewery was not far from where the Grauballe man (a bog body that was uncovered in 1952 from a peat bog) was found - hence the name Grauballe Bryghus.
Grauballe Bryghus was in these premises until the year 2013. By then it had grown so big that it was time to move to larger premises where it is today.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours pitch black with a roughish, beige head. Nose is not very roasty but has dried dark fruits and a little tar and peat. Solid body, lowish carbonation, some malty roast tartness. Again not so roasty, but the peat comes through also in the flavor. A little sloppy, but drinkable. 210318
