On cask @ the brewpub. Nice looking clear amber body with a moderate white head. Aroma has caramel malt and some fruity and floral hop aroma. Flavor is mild caramel malt, fruity and moderate bitter. Medium body and medium aftertaste with sweet malt and a light pleasant bitterness. A decent but quite average bitter.

On cask @ the brewpub. I did not get any information about ABV etc. so the style might be wrong, please correct if wrong. Dark brown body with a small beige head. Aroma is relatively mild coffee and light roasted malt. Flavor has a lot more coffee to it, the coffee flavor is rather dominating and the bitterness could as well be coffee bitterness than hop bitterness, probably a bit of both. Some dark, roasted malt as well, but in the background from the coffee flavor. Medium to full body and coffee in the aftertaste as well. The coffee flavor is nice, but I find it too dominating, even as a coffee lover this becomes a bit more like cold carbonated coffee then beer. The potential alcohol is totally camouflaged by the coffee, but I have a feeling there might be something here. A kick-start beer geek breakfast.

On cask @ the brewpub. Clear amber body with a nice tan head. Aroma has roasted malt, caramel and dry fruit with chocolate. Flavor is sweet, nice roasted malt, dry fruit, dark chocolate and a pleasant bitterness. Medium body and a fine smooth and roasted aftertaste. A very tasty and pleasant beer, impressive at this low ABV.

On tap at Tap East. Clear amber beer, residual white head. Light palate, dry. Mild mild malt with fairly bitter hops (Williamette says brewer Jim Wilson). A little juicy citrus. Semi dry finish with lasting bitterness. Good flavour for itโs modest abv (3.8%) but a little thin.

Cask (handpump) @ [ London Overground pub crawl ] @ Tap East Pub & Brewery, The Great Eastern Market, Westfield Stratford City, Stratford, Greater London, England E20 1ET.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, toffee, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, acrid peel bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120114]

Cask@Tap East, Stratford, London. Copper colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, mild toast, some toffee and nice floral and grassy hops to it. Flavour is caramel, floral, wooden and quite sweet maltyness with a gentle bitterness in the finish.

Cask@Tap East, Stratford, London. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral and has some maltyness balancing it up. Flavour is fruity and floral with mild perfumed soapy notes. A quite nice and smooth IPA.

Cask at Tap East. It pours deep ruby, with a thin beige head. The nose is wood, leather, dark fruit, blackcurrant jam and coffee. The taste caramel, wood, dark fruit, leather chocolate and a touch of smoke, with a clean finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Easy drinking and smooth.

On tap at the Brew Pub. Clear red brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate with a little fine carbonation. Nice malty chocolate base blends well with the mildly citric hop. Develops a stronger citric kick before the semi dry finish with more chocolate (powder this time). Decent mild.

Tap east extra stout 6.6% very deep brown. Dry malty aroma with some roast. Fruity malty flavour in mouth is pretty good but a bit of syrupy alcohol too. Like the pale ale this tastes like its pretty raw on a new kit. Which it is. Its an interesting syrupy fruity stout. Lots of fruit. Plums and cherries. 3.2
