0,33 boks fra Meny Hønefoss, hjemme i solveggen: klar gylden med fint skum som varer helt frem. Milde symptomer på citrus, urter, gress, furunål og lys malt. Fin urtebitterhet i avslutningen.

On tap at Bryggerifestivalen. A light brown beer, lightly hazy and topped by a small off-white to beige head. The aroma has some roasted malts and vague hints of dark chocolate, along with nuts and dark bread crust. It's full to medium bodied, nicel carbonated and semi-dry on the palate. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, hazelnut and dark bread flavors, with a touch of bitterness. Medium length finish. A decent brown ale indeed. 240801

On tap at Bryggerifestivalen. It's an unclear orange-golden colored beer with a thin layer of white bubbles. Citrusy aroma with some grass and tropical fruityness. Hints of pale malts in the back. It's full-bodied and nicely carbonated, with a gentle bitterness. The flavor has some maltyness in the back, but it's mostly citrus. Some peach, mango, green grape and grass. Medium length fruity finish. A bit dull, but at least flawless and easy drinkable. 240801

330 ml can, from Coop Mega Madla Handelslag. ABV is 4.7%. Colour somewhere between mahogany and ebony, large beige head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee and piney hops. Smooth and fairly dry flavour, roast malts and coffee again, well balanced with citric and piney hops. Medium bitter and roasty aftertaste.

0,33 boks fra Vaaland 1889, hjemme: brunsvart med forbilledlig skum helt til bunns. Fin aroma og meget godt balansert smak med furunål/eukalyptus, mørkbrent kaffe, litt karamell og citrus. God bitterhet i den halvtørre avslutningen. Her er det mye å glede seg over.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Slightly hazy yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is zesty, rubbery, some pineapple and mild earthy tones. Flavour is zesty, floral, some pineapple, mild earth and some slight herbal tones. Nicely fresh flavour, but aroma was somewhat strange.

Tåkete lys gul med hvitt skum. Lukter sitrus og mildt av barnål. Smaker ananas og noe appelsin. Synes den blir noe tam. Men god på smak.
