Can from Gulating. Unclear golden body under a frothy white head. Aroma has malt, hint of bread and a light fruity touch. Taste is light, smooth malt and frankly not so much more. Medium sweet and not much bitterness. Drinkable, but not much going on and definitely not what I expected from a dark mild, this is more like a golden ale or something. Definitivly the brightes 'dark' beer I have ever seen.

500ml bottle from one of the Vinmonopolet's I visited on my Norway trip. Poured back home in Jersey an amber colour with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of fruits, light herbs, grass, bread, yeast, light hops & malt. Medium body. Light bitter finish.

Can @ home. Slightly unclear golden body under a white head. Nice hoppy aroma, citric fruit, light biscuit and a herbal touch. Smooth, easy going, refreshing, fruity hops and decent bitterness. Fine balance in taste and body for a 4,7 % abv.

Bottle at home. As Christmas Cheesecake. Pours a deep dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, leather, tobacco and rye bread. Flavour of leather, cocoa, tobacco, rye bread and roasted malt. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a soft bitterness. Flavourful and with lots of chocolate.

Bottle. There's a very gentle yeast hint on this one, but overall it's a refreshing, fruity, citrusy beer. A bit heavy on the carbonation, and somehow unbalanced on the bitterness. Far from bad. 636311 251221
