Description
In 2011 we Howling Hops reopened the Cock tavern on Mare street as Hackney’s first brewpub. The brewery expanded a few times but still couldn’t really keep up with the demand. So in 2015 the brewery moved to the current address in the heart of Hackney Wick.

Howling Hops brew bold, modern, uncompromised, flavoursome, generously hopped beers. All our beers are unfiltered, unpasteurised and suitable for vegans. We still stick to our early philosophy of ‘make some interesting beer’, although not every one is different these days. We have a core of 4 beers that we brew regularly, a couple of beers we brew seasonally and every 3 or 4 weeks we brew a different single batch beer.

,Keg. A fairly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. A fairly light and smooth palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth creamy sweet malts. Good bright pine. Good juicy hop fruits, a little orange, tangerine and mango. Light and semi dry finish brings more juicy hop fruits and a little hop spice. Light and semi dry finish. Nice
