About
The Establishment Brewing Company is a brewery and taproom located in Calgary’s Manchester Brewing District - an area perfect for brewery-hopping and was recently named Canadian Brewery of the Year for 2021 at the Canadian Brewing Awards and Alberta Brewery of the Year for 2021 at the Alberta Beer Awards. We are a band of friends and beer fanatics, united by one common goal: the proliferation of friendship through sharing stories and music over a beer. The taproom has a warm welcoming vibe with good tunes, house plants and beer snacks, surrounded by barrels that hold a variety of wild and sour beer creations that can take anywhere from three months to three years to mature. We brew flavourful and highly drinkable beers, from barrel-aged sours to hop-forward ales, European lagers, and everything in between.

Nose of currants, caramel, vinegar, cherry, apple. Lovely cherry and vanilla, creamy, tangy flemish red character that goes very well with the currants. Great.

The Establishment Blackbird Bruin & Golden mixed culture beer ms with black currants 7.8% Plum juice purple brown color with funky sour with sweet black currants aroma. Tart and sweet, complexity but balanced. Good stuff.

pitch black color. Lovely oak bourbon and nice char character. Thick mouth, nice roasted malt, low carbonation, oily palate, modest bitterness, dark chocolate, not amazing depth but excellent palate. Love this

473ml can. Pours a cloudy yellow-orange with a thin, fizzy, short lived, off-white head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, apricot, orange, peach and earthy yeast. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, apricot, mango, orange rind, peach, passion fruit and earthy yeast in a dry, tart finish. Medium to full body with a thick, sticky texture and average carbonation. Juicy and delicious.

Kinda ugly translucent, but turbid at the same time. Very bizarre color. Lots of mangos, OJ and nice tart and sweet nose that is modestly dank. Nose is legit. Drinks like OJ with mangos, low carbonation, low bitterness, smooth palate. Rounded. Balanced. Nothing about this is overly amazing, but this is flawless to style. Would love to try this super fresh. Very nice
