Dull yellow, thin head. Light citrus hop, a bit of alcohol and again the malts aren’t properly developed.

Ugly, no head. Another soupy IPA that’s seen a bit too much oxygen. Overripe fruits, underdeveloped malts.

Another ugly ipa, sort of soupy, not much going on. Muddled hops. Not awful but just missing anything.

Fairly bright, medium bitterness, stone fruits and some citrus. Ok but I’m still not knocked out by the malt.

Lightish body and some apricotty stewed fruit hops. Light malt, so it comes across as weak.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy, dark and ruddy with a creamy beige head that lasted. Aroma was bourbon/vanilla, rye and roasty (but in no ways burnt) malt with a creamy beige head. Full bodied. Flavor is rye, bourbon, roasty malt. Nice level of rye spice. Not dry, not exactly bitter, but very rye. Super excellent.
