1/11/2025. Can at the ITFC beer share. From Beer Central, Sheffield. Good looking beer. Aroma is spiced, rummy, cakey, chocolate. Some sweetness but spiced bitterness is more dominant and a bit too much. Expected more cakey sweetness. Not too much body. Nice looks and aroma though.

Can picked up at the brewery. Deep chocolate brown pour. Sits virtually black. Slim ring of dense glossy beige foam. Bitter roast. Dark chocolate. Hints of coffee and caramel. Taste is nicely bitter with a creamy-ish sweetness. Plenty of body and flavour. Bitter chocolate finish. Nice one. Tasty and easy drinking.

Cask half at Sheffield CAMRA Beer Festival. Pours mildly hazed gold with white foam. Aroma: Fruity with lime, gooseberry, mild pineapple, grassy notes. Taste: light to moderate sweet with slightly more bitterness. Light body with soft carbonation. Could do with a bit more body but tidy flavours.

Hand-pulled pint on Sunday 19th October 2025, Pheasant Inn & Brewhouse. Clear and clean golden pour, white crown on top. I'm not a big fan of single hop beers as a rule, but the Willamette held it's own in this brew. Floral, herbal and slightly fruity in nature, helped by a decent malty base (Being 5.2% ABV also helped).
