XT Brewing
Microbrewery
in Long Crendon,
Buckinghamshire,
England 🏴
Associated Venue: XT Brewery
Established in 2011
We designed and installed our 18 barrel brewery during 2011 and brewed the first full scale gyle in November 2011. The equipment was custom built for us in Burton upon Trent.
The brewery is on the beautiful Notley Farm estate on the Oxfordshire Buckinghamshire borders, with far reaching views over the Chiltern hills. We are as eco-friendly and sustainable as possible; recycling nearly all our waste products and our spent raw materials go to local farmers to feed their cattle and pigs.

Bottle 19 of 50 ltd edition. I stopped rating October 2012 but will rate when people are kind enough to pass on beer or if I can be arsed. Consumed Saturday 24 November 2012 Pours brown with filmy head. I like XT however I think cask is my favoured way of drinking them. At £10 a bottle I don’t think this quite hits the mark, its fine, mid bitterness, quite a bit of carbonation, fruity tang, little dusty on nose. Just ok. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Gravity Dispense at the 13th Egham Beer Fest. It pours dark brown, with a thin off-white head. The nose is rather spicy, smoke, medicinal and ham. The taste is wood, leather, light spice, roasted malt, toast, smoked ham, caramel, bitter chocolate and wood with a decent bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Interesting and rather tasty.
