Description
In 1564 for the first time a brewery is mentioned in Svijany. In the following years the brewery was owned by different families. In 1912 it was bought by brewer Antonín Kratochvíle. The Kratochvíle family operated the brewery till 1939. After the war the brewery was confiscated and later nationalized. in 1990 the state enterprise Vratislavice nad Nisou was created, which included Svijany Brewery. In 1998 the company Pivovar Svijany was created, which became the new owner of the brewery. In 2005, it was transformed into a joint-stock company. Gradually Svijany became the strongest regional brand with national importance. The popularity of the brewery is increasing and it is gradually being developed into one of the largest independent breweries in the Czech Republic.
Svijany Brewery is wholly Czech owned and remains one of the last in ‚domestic‘ hands.

0,5 can. 0.5 can. The can is nice, but more importantly, the beer too! Light amber color, very nice, white, sticky but not very durable foam. Caramel, malt aroma, with Czech hops, it's aroma is not much different from its other brands. All the delicacies of Czech-Pilsen, the mildness, the bitterness, the freshness are all of this beer, just one more! You can almost bite your maltiness, good serious body. I didn’t feel the weird candy-like aftertaste of the added sugar on his sweetness, it just looked more full-bodied. It has a very good carbonation, they also have a dried fruit side taste (of course only slightly), which is nothing for a lager beer. I think it is an outstanding beer, and at a very good price! Compared to the many lousy "strong lager" attempts .. heaven and earth!

Összehasonlítva a sok pocsák "strong lager" próbálkozással.. ég és föld!

0,5 can. Nice brass-deep gold color, foam is also quite normal, but not durable. It has a resinous scent of Czech hops and a malty sweetness. It was like that, too. Spicy off-flavors with small tart hops (sour?) In addition to caramel malt sweets. Carbonic acid is average, body is average but not bad. Malate dominated more, clearly the sweeter, half-brown Czech piseni beer. Not bad! An easy-to-drink, yet meaningful drinking beer.

Szép sárgaréz-mély arany szín, hab is elég normális, de nem tartós. Cseh-komlós gyantás illat, mellette malátás édesség érződik rajta. Ízében is ez volt. Karamell-malátás édesség mellett kis fanyar komlós (savanykás?) fűszeres mellékízek. Szénsav átlagos, test átlagos, de nem rossz. Inkább a malaáta domintált benne, egyértelműen az édesebb, félbarnára hasonlító cseh piseni sör. Nem rossz! Könnyen iható, mégis tartalmasnak tűnő ivósör.

0,5 can. The new can has a clean appearance, I must say it's beautiful. When filled, there is a nice white foam at first, but it quickly disappears. The color is nice gold, not so light and doesn't seem so watery. A real Czech pilsner salzeer hop aroma, with a little maltiness mixed in. Very easy to drink. Not so full-bodied, since the content is small, but they didn't spare the hops, it has almost as much as the factory's strongly bitter 11. A delicious, bitter, light, thirst-quenching pilsner. It's worth the price, even despite the sugar and the iso-bigyó. Outstanding in the ten-pack category, which is why it got extra points.

500ml Can - Golden with a white head. Herbs, honey and grain in the aroma. The taste is herbal and slightly buttery with some grassy notes. Some notes of blackcurrant can be detected in the finish. Better than I was expecting.

500ml Can - Golden with a white head. Hay, grass and a faint hint of citrus in the aroma. The taste is moderately herbal with a noticeable yet relatively subtle bitterness and notes of citrus and grass. Some metallic notes can be felt in the aftertaste but they are not too strong.
