Bottle 50 cl. Pours a dark, reddish bown with a creamy, beige head. Sweet roast aroma with a whiff of subtle smoke. Medium body, sweet roast, a little licorice and very subdued bacon. I’m pretty sure that no pig was hurt in the making of this beer. But a pleasant, easygoing Porter to the sweet side. 200117

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque pitch black with a light brown head. Nose is heavy roast, a little smack in your face unrefined. Rich body of heavy roast malts, with an underlying sweetness, also some dark, dried fruits. Low in carbonation. Solid if not exactly refined. Old school. 030117

Hazy dark brown color with mahogany shades. Light roasted malt aroma, with yeast. Dry mouthfeel; roasted malt flavor, a bit too ashy; the body is quite weak, some of the bitterness comes from the malts. Short final.
