Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours an almost clear, deep reddish purple with a small, off-white head. Very little aroma, perhaps a vague hint of cherries. Medium body, very low carbonation. Kinda sweetish marzipan notes, a little yeasty, a little tart - but you certainly don't feel the base Wit beer. But kinda interesting. Some more carbonation would've made it more refreshing. 190219

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a dark hazelnut with an orange hue and a small, off-white head. Nutty, caramellish aroma. Rich, malty body, licorice notes, a bit short on the palate and not the most sophisticated, but otherwise fine. Hardly any bitterness, but a warming alcohol finish. 290119

Bottle 50 cl. As Kongebryg Hasselnød Brown Ale at. 5.5%. Hazy, deep nutty brown with a creamy, dense and lacing off-white head. Biscuity, nutty aroma. Medium body, caramel, biscuits - but also a late, unpleasant phenollic edge from a far from perfect fermentation. Dry finish. 160119

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a small, creamy beige head. Sweet roast nose. Rich, sweet body, massive licorice notes but pleasantly rounded. Some smoky accents, and that's really all I get from the so called barrel aging - that barrel cannot have been completely fresh. 271218
