Medium golden color. Nice frothy white head. Pineapples, citrus and crackery malt character, slightly sweet. Medium full body, massive hop bitterness, but backed up with excellent malt backbone, semi-sweet. A touch warming in the finish, but the abv is well hidden. Super approachable and clean. Fantastic IIPA. Love this.

Pint can pours with a nearly clear deep gold body that supports a wafer thin hue of copper and supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up tangelo and cantaloupe blended with sappy pine hops and mild sense of booze and malts. The taste delivers a pleasing blend of tangelo and cantaloupe as well as sappy hoppy bitterness. This is going really well together. Another sip pulls up a really narrow channel of sweet maltiness that has a faint bready quality to it. This is a great sipper. I'll need more.... much more of this.

Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours very dark, but clear, brown with a slight beige head. Aroma of rye and nice roasty malt. Heat is in the air a little bit. Full bodied. Flavor is rye, non-musty wood, heat and moderately dark toffee. Mild heat burn. Adds flavor. Not much considering about 16%. Nice taste. Pleasant in the mouth.

On tap at El Segundo, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out intense bourbon barrels upfront, followed by roast and a touch of vanilla. Flavour is rich, with lots of bourbon, syrupy notes, molasses, and roast. Very thick, syrupy palate, with lots of molasses. A bit too sticky and syrupy for me, but it's well-made.

On tap at El Segundo, pours a clear dark amber / mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out caramel, German lager yeast, and bready malt. Flavour is malty, with lots of caramel, bready malt, and some fruitiness. Malty and caramely finish. Not exactly complex but it's pleasant.

On tap at El Segundo, pours a dark amber with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out a wonderful mix of woody resinous hops and toasted caramel malt. Flavour is loaded with rich resinous hops, some wood, and lots of caramel malt. The rich maltiness is there, but it's the woody, bitter, resinous hops that shine. Excellent. Haven't had an imperial red this great in years.

On tap at El Segundo, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nose is intense, with lots of oily hop resins, tons of piney hops oils, modest alcohol, and sweet biscuity malt. Flavour is wonderfully balanced, with intense resinous and piney hop oils, a bit of dankness, and sweet biscuity malt. Intense but not out of whack at all. A masterful triple IPA.

On tap at El Segundo, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals piney hops, some resinous oils, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is full of piney and resinous hops, with a touch of dankness, and crisp biscuity malt. Surprisingly dry for a double IPA, yet still very well-balanced. Excellent.
