Quite dark body. Surprised? Probably not. Decent off white and a fast vanishing head. Tad sweet and a bit to flat carbonation level. Not that inviting really. Coffee, some roast, barrel, toffee and whiskey. Ok flavor. It is just the carbonation level that is bad.

A nice and pleasant imperial stout. No sticky alcohol and not to rich carbonation level. Pleasant and easy to drink. Just wish it had a bit more rum barrel flavor. No green apples either. A fine opaque black body and a big tan head. Tad rich carbonation level, but stayed within reasonable limits. Ok intensity in the aroma. Fine tail and a balanced sweetness. Rum barrel, oak, chocolate, mild espresso and some roast in the flavor.

0,5 flaske fra Bornholmerbutikken i Torvehallerne (København), på hytta jan-18: brunsvart med eksemplarisk skum som varer helt ned. Deilig, røstet aroma med kaffe, litt røyk og tjære, hint av overmodne bjørnebær. Smaken likeså, og med en fint avstemt bitterhet som gjør den til en elegant drikke. Den slanke, tørre ettersmaken bidrar også fint til dette. Hyttelivet er s'gu dejligt.
