Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque black with a rich, creamy and lacing light brown head. Roasty nose with a touch of vanilla. Rich, roasty body, faint licorice notes and a soft finish. Pretty straight up Imperial Stout without much fuss. The licorice is hardly noticeable though. 170822

Bottle 50 cl. Lazy pour leaving no head, coudy, opaque, golden color. Odd phenollic nose, no yeast or coriander freshness. Medium body, lowish carbonation, dull fruitiness with little yeast or coriander character. No hops either. Sloppy craftmanship this one. 170822

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a small, roughish, off-white head. Yeasty, phenollic aroma with a touch of cherries. Rich, sweet, malty body. Plenty of yeast and phenols. Warming, boozy finish. Supposedly brewed with cherries although they are not declared in the ingredient list. 160822

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a slightly hazy, deep amber with a beige head. Biscuity, toffeeish aroa. Rich and sweet caramel and toffee flavor with little, finishing hops. I'd call it an Imperial Amber Ale, as a DIPA it must be at least 10 years since they came like this. But enjoyable drinking for a malt lover like me. 160822

Medium body, sweet roast and vanilla, again with lovely citrusy hops blending in leaving little bitterness. It's a little too sweet for my taste, but otherwise very well composed. 100822

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Very dark brown minimal beige head, Evident coffee aroma. Very sweet with full body and rounded, somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Caramel and treacle, espresso and black pepper. Midly warming finish with coffeeish bitterness.

[ As Small Batch Espresso Cream Stout ].
ABV: 11.0%. Clear dark brown colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, dark chocolate, coffee, cocoa, espresso. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, coffee, espresso, cocoa, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming. [20220423]
