Bottle shared at the RBESG 2014, grand tasting 09/08/2014 Moncada Brewery. Translucent , pale yellow coloured pour with a small white halo of head. Aroma is base malts, pils, bit og honey and a touch of apple. Bit of nutmeg. Flavour is light spice, cinamon, base malts, bit of straw and apple.. Palate is sem-sweet, lowish carbonation.

Bouteille: Deep golden to chestnut-amber coloured, medium sized lacy off-white head; toffee and nuts and caramel in the sweetish nose; mild to moderate sweetish flavour with a shy bitterness, light to medium bodied; slightly drier in the quite short malty-nutty finish. All in all a nice brew, but a bit too sweet…

50cl bottle. Bottle no/label: 01742.2. Mahogany color, thick off-white head. Sweet banana, clove and wheat in aroma. Flavor has banana, wheat, mild soury notes, like youghurt, making it more refreshing actually. Caramel in the slightly sweeter finish. Thin body. Quite nice and a little different hefeweizen.

Bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit ordentlicher leicht beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, hefig, fruchtig, Karamell, Gewürze. Geschmack sehr würzig malzig, leicht hefig fruchig, nussi, Karamell.

Der Antrunk ist bananig hopfig mit mildem Malz und leichter Herbe, insgesamt wenig aromatisch. Im Mittelteil verlagert sich der Schwerpunkt von der Hefigkeit zum Malz, spritzig. Dann laffer, nur noch wenig herb, wässrig. Kein wirklich gelungenes Produkt. 8/8/7/7/9/7

[ As Duckstein Braumeister Edition No 04 Sonnen Malz ].Clear medium to dark amber orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, light hay, light to moderate hoppy, fruity. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, exotic fruit - pineapple - papaja, malty, caramel vegetables. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140802]

Taste comprises orange, light bread, pale malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Whelming affair but not offensive.
