500ml bottle. Hazy amber colour with average, frothy to creamy, off-white head. Muggy wheat malty aroma, a touch of apple, grass. Taste is minimally sweet, watery hints of sugar beet sirup. It’s all about marketing but the modification of the Marxian quotation "Das Design bestimmt das Bewußtsein" isn’t true in this case.

Bottle, 5.7%. Semi-fat banana aroma, a little citric. Cloudy brown colour. Stable off-white head. The flavour starts off quite yeasty. Gets rather caramelly. Low bitterness. OK, but the extra/special aroma hops do not really stand out.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt with notes of caramel, banana and hops. Malty flavour with grainy notes and a touch of soy sauce and rmetal in the finish. A trifle unbalanced and watery. Interesting, but it should probably be classified as a Dunkelweizen ratherbthan a GH.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and mid-sized foamy head. Fruity hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, tangerine and a tinge of grapefruit, accompanied by mildly spicy and oily phenols. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Quite dry (cara-)malty base with hints of astringent black tea/Earl Grey and moderately fruity flavours of citrus, leading into a dry-ish and delicately astringent finish, which reminds me a bit of a cold cup of Earl Grey tea. Not bad at all. 28.V.13

(bottle) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a big and dense, slightly tanned foamy head. Cara-malty and moderately wheaty aroma with notes of a bit overripe fruits and baking yeast. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a rather calm carbonation. Slightly bready (cara-)malty and mildly wheaty taste with a moderately fruity touch of overripe apricots, pears, accompanies by bearable amounts of phenolic spices. Not really convincing, regarding the hop usage even disappointing. 13.IV.13

Bottle. Pours hazy with airy white head. Sourish yeasty aroma. Sweetish, grainy flavour, offset by the grainy sweetness. Sourish finish. Quite ok.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and fruit. Bitter taste of hops, replaced by malty and caramellish sweetness, itself ending in a dryish, a little smoky aftertaste. Richly carbonated. Not bad!

Reddish colour. Earthy muddy with some sweetish malts. Decent citrus hops on finish. Interesting earthiness.

Appearance: Hazy dark golden color with an off white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Caramel malt, wheat and banana.
Palate: Medium body. A bit sweet, light spicy and some bitterness. Rich carbonation.
Taste: Rich wheat and banana. On the the sweet side. Also a bit more dominant caramel malt than usual. Some spices in the background.
Overall impression: Nice tasty German hefeweize. Fresh and easy drinkable.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with ★Grima★
