Cask at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Black pour with a tan head. Chocolate, toffee, almond, nuts and caramel nose. Flavours of coffee, almond, caramel, toffee. Sweet malty finish.

Cask @ Tap and Can. Misty gold pour, white head. Dry bitter pale, has an unfortunately old-tasting off-flavour, distant tropical citrus. Glad I had the third.

Keg @ Nightjar, Hebden Bridge. Quite hazy golden brew with a head. Crisp and sessionable as its name might suggest. Sweet hoppy in the main.
