Cask. Gravity dispense. 41st Steel City Beer Festival. Hazy, pale amber. Aroma is raspberry and soft toffee. Taste is very earthy, raspberry seed bitter. Some dryness. Light body. Finishes acrid bitter. Not great.

Cask at Cloisters. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of orange, cream, faint spice. Taste is creamy, woody, more orange at the back. Bitter marmalade finish.

Keg at the Brunswick, Leeds. Pours hazy to murky amber with a thin white head. Aromas of raspberry jam, light yeast. Taste is sweet up front, then a raspberry seed bitterness. Medium body, fruity finish.

Cask at the Victoria, Birmingham. Poured a murky dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is light creamy toffee malt. The flavour is watery liqourice malt with a roasty, coffee, light chocolate, grainy palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
