Cask at the Old Joint Stock - Birmingham. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. The nose holds lemon peel, hay, pale grains. Light sweet flavour with nips of pine, lemon peel, dry pale malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with some husky grain, more citrus rind. Decent.

Cask at the Old Joint Stock - Birmingham. Pours black-brown with a bubbly, beige head. Nice ashy roast in the nose, torched marshmallows, earth. Medium sweet flavour, bitter dark chocolate, some espresso, strong roast. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Bitter ashy finish, dark cocoa, scorched earth. Solid, toothy.

Cask at the Old Joint Stock - Birmingham. Pours red-brown with a frothy, khaki head. Nice brown bread, a little earth, dried dark berries, a little roast and coffee. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Balanced finish, bitter, some ash, more dried berries. Solid.

Cask at the Wellington - Birmingham. Pours clear gold with a small, creamy white head. The nose holds pale bread, faint smoke, hay, lemon rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with crispy straw, off smokey notes, pale bread. Alright.

Cask at the Wellington; clear golden yellow pour with a thin white head, aroma has light citrus and malt, taste has sweet malts, citrus.

Cask at the Head of Steam, Birmingham. Poured a clear golden colour with a frothy lasting white head. The aroma is malt, cardboard, floral hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a smooth grainy malt, mineral, earthy, dry floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and a lingering floral bitter finish. Sadly not a beer I could drink much of.

Cask at the Head of Steam, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is malt, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth, rich dry light gluey, grainy malt, big dry woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

From cask at Kingโ€™s Head, Leicester, 23.05.18. Clear pale golden. Fine white head amd lacing. Moderate aroma, with pale malt. Tastw of pale malt and succade. Low bitterness. Dull. Uncarbonated and round mouthfeel.

Cask at Post Office Vaults. Dark brown with ring of bubbly head. Roasty, nutty chocolate aroma. Big flavors of chocolate and coffee, thick and meaty. Another great mild.
