Bottle on the Black Country Train Tasting Part I. Pours mostly clear yellow with a creamy white head. Sweet cereal and pale bread on the nose, some light lemon. Mild sweetness in the flavor with peach and bubblegum, some mango, more cereal. Light bodied with high carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish with pale bread and some tropical fruits. OK.

Bottle on the Black Country Train Tasting Part I, 06/07/13, I picked this one up at some farmers market in Bochum, April ’13. Hazed blonde with a thin white head. Nose is pale malts, grass, citrus, light honey. Taste comprises grass, toasted malt, honey is evident, fruits, citrus, sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp finish. Average stuff.

Black Country Beano. Outbound train tasting! Light haze on this gold beer, big white head. Light airy palate, semi dry. Light malt with mild German nuttyness - caraway. Touch of mellow orange citrus. Light dry finish. Decent, drinkable.

Bottle on the train to Wolverhampton. Gold thick ivory head. Yep ok. Decent floral flowery nice honey. Very drinkable. I like it.
