Not bad, mixing strong toffee and caramel notes with a woody undercurrent soaked in bourbon. Hints of wet malt, candy apple, date, and grapefruit transition into a boozy, warm, pine-tinged fade. Nice pint.

Can at Chiltern Taps, 01/09/19. Black with a lasting tan covering. Nose is chocolate, nutty, peanut butter cup, hazelnut. Taste comprises bitter sweet roast, chocolate slice, brown sugar melt, candy bar, Reeses Pieces, the lightest of ashen notes. Medium bodied, fine to prickly carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad ... holds together well and doesn’t go run away sweet or zero PnB presses like quite a few of its brothers and sisters!

Okay hop bomb, light on the haze but heavy on the Mosaics, full of peach and grapefruit and berry, backed up by white grape, honey, and earth. Wet malt sweetness leads to a funky, slightly bitter finish. Vegetal notes are a bit strong—lots of onion and honey mustard here—but drinkable.

12oz can on 7th Aug 2019; GBBF. Clear for a 'kellerbier', golden body, white crown. Malty, grainy aroma and taste, not a lot of hop action, OK for the style, even if a little too sweet.
