Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a hazy, juicy gold with 2 fingers of foam that dissipates quickly. Pungent mosaic hop aromas with orange, grapefruit, and mango dominating. Quite dank. Creamy mouthfeel, lots of juice, medium to soft bitterness. Very well-executed NE IPA. Solid drop from TailGate. --- Beer merged from original tick of Dino Breath IPA on 08 Aug 2017 at 20:42 - Score: 7. Original review text: Pungent, dank mosaic aromas with citrus and mango. Creamy on the palate, juicy. Well-executed NE IPA from tailgate. Low bitterness.

Can from the Pineapple, Kentish Town. Dark orange/gold, mostly clear, with lots of visible carbonation and a quickly dissipating head. There’s grapefruit in the aroma, but it smells a bit artificial. Some orange peel and a touch of sweet spice as well. Thee taste is exceptionally pleasant: almost a lagery bittersweetness with the grapefruit notes sitting on top. Lovely rounded finish with tangerine and pithy pink grapefruit in the aftertaste. Different to a lot of IPAs out there and certainly worth trying.

Can from the Criterion, Leicester, drunk at home. Light golden colour, clear. Smells pleasant but it’s more like artificial watermelon sweets than the real thing. Jarring taste, the watermelon flavour just doesn’t go. Sourness in the finish. Not terrible but disappointing.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a deep brown to black with a small tan head that dissipates quickly. Big peanut butter and chocolate nose. Just tons of peanut butter throughout, Reese’s puff cereal, light raspberry. Dry chocolate finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Peanut Butter Milk Stout on 23 Jul 2017 at 20:50 - Score: 7. Can from the Drayman’s Son, Ely. Very, very dark brown - black, really - with a film of off-white head. Amazing smell full of peanuts. Some salted caramel and milk chocolate notes with a touch of Marmite. Taste is very sweet, almost too sweet for me, although there’s a light hoppy balance in the finish. Not too carbonated, but just enough to lift the creamy body.

Bottle picked up from The Angel, Bicester, Oxon, consumed at home sat in the garden cooking prawns in the company of Isobel on another lovely day, Sunday 9th July 2017 Golden in colour with a mid sized white head. There is a little grapefruit edge to this, sweet, juicy, perhaps too sweet, a little touch of dryness at the end. It’s petty good, a touch artificial perhaps but not bad at all. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Can picked up from The Angel, Bicester, Oxon consumed at home sat in the garden in the company of Isobel on another lovely day, Sunday 9th July 2017 This does exactly what it sets out to do, it’s peanuty on the nose, creamy and peanut in the mouth. Smooth, tasty stuff, a little coffee, light smooth roastiness, very good. Black with a creamy textured light beige head. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

355ml can @ Albert’s Shed, Shrewsbury. Pours clear gold, small white head. Aroma of artificially sweetened American tropical juice / Sunny D. Taste is juicy, definitely not all from hops, with a little too much tropical juice addition, some light bubblegum. It’s not unpleasant, and does the job for a light fruity beer on a sunny evening, but I couldn’t have another can.
