Bottle from Whole Foods in Folsom, CA. Pours dark amber with a near white head. Aroma is tart/sour blueberry. Med body or so. Flavor is somewhat roasted malt, but the main thing is tart/sour blueberry. A very approach sour.

650ml bottle. Cloudy, chestnut colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark beige head. Sweet-ish, malty aroma, notes of toffee, caramel, hints of milk chocolate, nougat and treacle. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally nuttily malty, notes of toffee, nougat, hints of caramel, milk chocolate, treacle, some bitter hop with zesty hints of mandarine as counterweight; widely hidden alcohol, a minimally warming touch in the finish, though. Oily-watery texture, smooth and soft palate.

Tap at Devil Craft. Yum. Dark brown, small golden head. Aroma is roasty, sweet vanilla, bit of smoke and coffee, some soy sauce. Taste is smoky, roasty, burnt, very nice. Really good.

Tap at Keyaki. Dark brown golden head. Aroma is sweet, Creme brûlée, bit roasty too. Taste is slightly savoury, sweet and nice like the sauce bit at the top of a Creme caramel. Pretty nice.

Pour is a black with a huge tan head. Aroma is a huge cocoa nibs with some graham cracker dryness. Flavor is more chocolate with a super dry finish. Not a huge aftertaste on the tongue. Decent chocolate all around but not much after that. Decent chocolate but I wanted more of the marshmallow and graham cracker to come out.

Tap @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Murky brown color. Caramel and pear in the aroma. Malty sweet smoky flavor with pear and hints of pipe tobacco. Low on carbon.

Bomber from Big Al's Market. Dark brown, sunlight coming through, beige foamy head. Aroma is sweet and nutty, Maple and pecans. Taste is full-on pecan pie topped with maple syrup instead of whipped cream. A sweet sugar bomb but pretty damn tasty.
