330ml bottle from trade with Benzai. Many thanks! Great green wax. Pours a misty dark amber, foamy pale tan head. Aroma chucks out some nice spicy caramel. Taste is spicy sweet caramel, dried dark fruits, yeasty, sweet malts. Good spicy spelt saison.

Bottle @ home shared with dad. Hazy amber color, virtually no head. Aroma is lightly malts, some tart red fruit. Taste lightly malts, slightly yeast, slightly sweet and slightly tart bitter. Overall decently balanced though. Not bad.

0.33 l bottle from ’Mitra Van Bergen’, brewed in January 2016 at ’Troost’. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, moderately roasty, slightly smoky and a bit fruity aroma of dark chocolate, licorice, smoked ham and lime. Slightly sweetish, moderately roasty, a bit smoky and quite fruity taste of dark chocolate, licorice, a touch of coffee, lots of lime and quite a bit of smoked ham, followed by a medium long, rather roasty-bitter finish. Over medium-bodied, slightly creamy, almost oily mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Very nice stuff, quite unique, really well-balanced which is almost miracle in itself. Tasty!

330 ml. bottle. Brewed 22-1-2016. Dark brown, faint ruby hue, mostly dark brown with some black, head is very quickly gone. Nose is umami, herbal, smoke, umami smoke & some licorice. Fine carbonation, reasonably big smoke with strong umami, bark, leather, licorice, low bitterness, touch herbal components. Sadly I get neither the limes nor the lemongrass. Pretty basic umami & smoke beer, overly umami, herbal, some licorice, mild damper, I hoped for lime & lemongrass notes, this isn’t fully to my preference.
