Nov. ’16. On tap at the brewery outlet, Livno. Unfortunately, they didn’t have their new beers which were supposed to be released. I won’t comment why and how I didn’t get it at the festival when Marko had it. Anyhow, dark brown, I guess clear bodied with smaller brown head atop. Aroma of coffee but also lighter caramel and yeast. Flavor was roasted, lightly sweet with that distinct coffee sourish note, but later on it showed caramel, brown sugar and even touch of chocolate. Medium bodied, I would prefer a bit fuller porter. Fine, but seemingly simple moderately long coffee finish. A decent porter, obviously a replacement for their previous "tamno" which used wheat as a basis.

On tap at Hmeljevo ’16, after a couple kegs of their regular blond for which everyone thought it was Hefeweizen (huge thanks Marko for the tip!). It poured a bit hazy golden, reddish hued body with medium sized head. Strong lightly sweet chalky bubblegum aroma. More or less same flavor, bubblegum dominated, lightly sweet and chalky. Thinner in body with moderately long finish that followed everything else. Weird, never seen so much bubblegum in a Hefeweizen, but not bad anyhow.

On tap at Hmeljevo 2016. Man, people were convinced that there was none left/sent, until, randomly, I spotted at roughly 3AM that something dark was being poured and yes, it was a Livanjsko keg. Whew! Clear brown-red body with a small off white head. Light malty, grainy aroma, caramel, nice and sweetish. Sweetish, light and mild nice taste, plum and dark maltiness. Drinkable, no flaws, won’t rock your world, but well executed!

On tap at Hmeljevo 2016. Murky ochre body. Chewed up bubblegum and herbal notes in the creamy, yeasty aroma. Caramel and more chewed up bubblegum in the taste. Interesting, slightly atypical and though far from great - not bad!

Jun. ’15. On tap at "Ima i moze" festival, Mostar. Hazy golden colored with medium sized head. Fine sweet fruit aroma. Flavor was quite sweet, too. Sugary and fruity. Medium to full bodied, even cloying, but with short sugar candy finish. Not a real pale ale by craft means, but hats down they actually made it. A real ale. And to the cordial presentation at their stand. Too bad they didn’t serve also their porter at the fest.

Ima I Može Craft Beer fest, Mostar. So, Livno’s brewpub is now doing ales, cool! Golden body. Subdued malty aroma, vague banana. Bready, slightly sweetish taste, no real hop flavor, but it seems to derive some tang from them - doesn’t give much bitterness. A bit strangely dryish in the aftertaste. Pleasant light beer, a disappointment if you’re looking for a Pale Ale, but face it - they are in an area where lager’s not only the norm but the only thing going on, and word of mouth used to pretty bad due to the "local so must be worse" idiocy, so nothing too wild was to be expected. Correctly made beer, better than anything else golden in the area, just not a thrill for the beer geeks (though it might well be when every other alternative is a macro pale lager).

330 ml bottle. Friend gave me this beer from Livno. Definitely one of best bosnian beers. It has brown red color with small head. Little sweetish taste. Preety good beer.
