I am trying out just a taste of one more pickle beer, because I am admitting I get to like them. Golden color of an American light lager in the glass with just a slight bit of haze, and a thin ring of foam around the edge. I find the nose to be rather nondescript, but this is after two hits of barrel-aged beers. I do not care for pickles normally, but I can pick up a rather well done pickle taste. I am getting some vinegar as well, but I am going to say that could be expected when you're doing a pickle beer. I have had some pickle beers that turned out to be rather creamy like some sours will be. But this one just goes straight in for the sour, and straight in for the vinegar. As sour, pickle beers go, this one sits in rather nicely: nice and sour, and nice and pickley.
Deep brown color, thin tan ring of foam. Subdued Cherry nose competing with Belgian specialty malt Bill. Not as "thick" as the Bell Witch I just had. Just a nice light cherry taste with a slight bit of tart. Pleasant, not excessive.

Next-to-last call at the fine establishment. Deep black pour, a bit of tan foam ring. Bourbon nose and maple syrup combine for a nice woody impression. Some of it spills as I'm walking around trying to find a seat, and it's quite sticky. Great BA story taste, though I'm not sure how to detect that it's a true.

Just a very slight gush when I pop the tab, dribbling a little sticky beer on my hand. But it doesn't overflow, so we're good. Pours black, with a brief ring of foam. The foam is quickly gone; I guess the coconut has a bit of head-killing oil. Coconut in beer can go either way with me, but like quite a few heavy pastry stouts, the coconut blends in smoothly in the nose. Taste brings in equal part coconut, chocolate and a bit of milky lactose, as they promise. Thick and syrupy texture, leaves a lot of sticky residue on my lips. Really liking this beer, and glad I got a 4 pack. I'll have to check back before they close to see if they might put out some other treats.

Intense smoky nose right up front. Dark brown Peter put under a thin, lacy brown head. Good old smoked ham taste, as expected. Which some people could take or leave. Certainly hits all the points for the style, and I rather enjoy it.

Just a taster, but that's all I needed. Dark stout color, a thin bit of foam from a can pour. Smell is not just hot chiles, but a light chocolate background, cinnamon, chocolate and vanilla. All of that swirls together in a sweet, hot mess that's what Ilike in a chile beer.

Draught @ the taproom (Jan 2025). opaque dark brown with a very small frothy beige ring of a head, sharp rum aroma, low carbonation, bitter woodsy rum-soy sauce taste with dark toasted malt, thin body, long finish. Very boozy!
