Bottle from DarkElf. Hazy yellow-orange body, medium spritzy off-white head. Aroma rife with tropical or semi-tropical fruits (pineapple, lemon) in addition to white grape, esters, brie cheese rind, and musty oak. Sharp pineappley body, slightly puckering, with a strong acidic, lemony bite followed by a long tannic finish. White wine characteristics are prevalent. Nice balance of sweet and dry flavors. A solid sour beer but doesn’t rise to the status of Supplication.

Cloudy yellow colour. Bright bretty aroma with a champagne note and abundant pale malts. Snappy brett and wood flavour again with light pale malt. The body is much more lively, both in terms of effervescence and brightness of flavours, than the brewpub version. It’s not showing me the complexity of some of the other bretty, Belgiany RR creations, but it’s certainly worthy of a look.

Very pale gold with a little orange shine; disparate, very white head. I get some apricot, sugar, straw and faraway plywood. Sweet - but woody, very discreet. Finish is dry woody, like oak that’s nearly completely eaten out; also something distinctly vegetal. Quite sticky MF, well bodied, not really thick and a bit of alcoholwarming. Nice, but compared to the Supplication, extremely discreet, nearly shy. The balance, however, is near perfect.
