Dickinsonbeer’s Pre-TAP gathering - I brought the bottle. Batch 1. As Optimator said, this thing made a mess of everything around it, I blame it on the Brett. Pours cloudy light yellow, can see through the beer. This is the first non-Belgian beer I had that had such an authentic Belgian aroma, very impressive. Citrusy and acidic aroma. Smooth beer, medium body. The flavor fills the palate and evaporates. Can feel the essence of the beer for a while.
Re-rate:Shared by EDA, 2 years old now, I am surprised this did not blow up. All bretty of course now, lots and lots of pineapple funky, I greatly enjoyed this aged, more so than fresh.

Bottle. Dark ruby-mahogony color with an off-white head. Chocolate and toffee aroma with some nice Belgian spiciness. Malty flavor with some underlying darker malts - slight roastiness, caramel, toffee. Spicy yeastiness with some banana notes. Plum fruitiness. Alcohol warms in the finish and is felt. Nice complexity while still keeping a subtlety to it.

Ruby-brown with a small tan head. Aroma was malty with chocolate hints. Malty-friut flavor with some hints of chocolate and nice sourness, not bitterness and a sour fizzy finish.

Draught Colour not determinable; no head. Brettanomyces with soft sweet notes, but again, "wet floormop" variety, rainwater, lemony. Great lemony flavours, very fruity, tangerines. There is some sweetness, again fruity in character, lurking underneath, but it does not really come out. Adstringent, dry-out effect, lipsmacking sourness stays on the lips. Another very interesting thing by master Vinnie. Pity about the aroma - try another strain?

375ml cork and wire bottle, Batch 001. Used St. Sebastiaan small tulip glass. Pours with some lacing, very cloudy yellow. Cannot see through the beer. The smell is potent. The beer is silky smooth in your mouth wherein the rougher edges of a beer are dulled by the chardonnay taste. Goes down very smooth. Feel a slight warming feeling at the bottom of mt throat. Tastes of sourness tickle the sour censors on my tongue. 8/4/7/3/16
Re-rate: batch 003, shared by JB. Completely murky with a thick golden color. Aroma is very dry floral brettiness. Taste is more floral and citrus brett. Well. its glorious brett. 8/4/8/4/16

Bottle from DarkElf. Hazy yellow-orange body, medium spritzy off-white head. Aroma rife with tropical or semi-tropical fruits (pineapple, lemon) in addition to white grape, esters, brie cheese rind, and musty oak. Sharp pineappley body, slightly puckering, with a strong acidic, lemony bite followed by a long tannic finish. White wine characteristics are prevalent. Nice balance of sweet and dry flavors. A solid sour beer but doesn’t rise to the status of Supplication.
