Description
Our brewery is a two minute walk from the sea front and promenade in Morecambe. The building, which dates back to the 1800's, was once part of Morecambe's thriving fishing industry and is situated on the site of the old Morecambe market in the Poulton district of Morecambe.

Our main brewhouse, is a modern 2 vessel system from Brewiks of Slovenia, capable of brewing 650 litres. Each vessel has dual purpose.
Alongside this we have 3 pressurised fermenters. Additionally, we also have our pilot brewery capable of 140 litres with two SS Brewtech unitanks, we use this brewery for special small batches, experimentation and recipe development.

Initially a first floor brewpub based in at The Old Stables, Bulk Street, Lancaster, LA1 1PU, the brewery first brewed in early 2018. During March 2021, they opened a second site in Morecambe. In late 2021, they moved all brewing to Morecambe with the Lancaster premises staying as their pub.

Black beer, thin head. Loads of tonka in the aroma. Flavour follows suit with malt, a dash of cherry, malt, maybe a little chocolate. It's rich and smooth and I just love a tonka-y stout so this is right up my alley

Keg at Brewdog in Norwich, Norfolk. A dark ruby brown/black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Sweet, tonka, chocolate, cherry aroma, tastes similar very drinkable but a little light. Nice cherry in this one.

Keg draught at BrewDog Leicester as part of Collabfest 2021. Is there such a thing as reddish black? That's the colour. An off-pink ring of head. Tonka bean comes through in the malt-led (and slightly dirty) aroma. Gorgeous taste, lush and sweet, with tonka again to the fore bit never overcrowding, and light cherry waiting in the background. Some gentle bitterness in the finish. Medium body, low carbonation. Brilliant!
