About
Stadsbrouwerij & Brasserie 'T Pakhuis is one of those home breweries where beer is still brewed in the authentic way, that is to say with purely natural raw materials, without filtration and without pasteurization. The tempered, never exaggerated but balanced use of various raw materials is one of the brewer's most important capacities.

Hazy blond with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some spicy yeast and hints of ginger cake. Quite gassy.

Little hazy orange beer, big irregular creamy off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very yeasty, spicy, some coriander, sweet, quite a lot of ripe banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty fruity start, some citrus, banana, bit malty, bitter hops. Aftertaste: citrus, grassy, quite bitter, dry finish, lots of ripe banana.

Troebel oranjegeel bier met stevig schuim. Smaak is krachtig bitter, licht zoet en kruidig, kardemon of iets dergelijks. Best goed jubileumbier.

Tap @ pakhuis. Pours unclear amber/orange. Ok white head. Smell is sweet, fruity ( orange ) and a tad yeasty. Taste is surprisingly bitter , some clear Spice note , thinking of cardamon but not entirely sure. Rather thin body, rather high carbo. Very different taste thzn expected after the scent. Ok

Huge dense yellowish head over muddy amberish orange beer, UFO-laden. Grainy nose with alcohol (strange, that, for 6.8% only), white candi sugar, faintly spicy. Rather sharpish toasted flavour, light sweet; bit spicy bitternesss backthroat. Vaguely citrus-y. Sharp, and fizzy carbonation, medium bodied, slick, alcoholwarming (bis). Strange - not bad. Blind, I’d given it easily 8% ABV, if not more. Thanks to Stef!
