Tennent Caledonian is Scotland’s pre-eminent brewer. Based at the historic Wellpark brewery in Glasgow, we brew an industry-leading portfolio of beers led by the iconic Tennent’s Lager and Caledonia Best – for home and export markets across the world, including the USA, Canada and Europe. We employ over 300 people across the production and commercial arms of our business. Since 2009 we have been part of C&C Group plc, the company behind the successful international Magners cider brands.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Gluten Free. Golden colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of malt, corn grain. Taste is sweet, malt, grainy, corn, tangy, with some papery bitterness. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, sweet & drying cardboardy bitter finish. Quite OK

Can from the local Sprouts Grocery. Pours gold with a large foamy whitehead that laced. Aroma is herbal spicy. Multi but reasonably towards dry. Very nicely bitter. Good flavor.

Bottle. Clear amber with a good white head. Aroma and taste of malts, booze, grains and herbs. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Very alcoholic and kind of ok-ish.

330mL bottle, pours a clear dark amber / burgundy with a small off-white head. Aroma has lots of English bready malt, toasted caramel, and a touch of sugars. Flavour has a very simple malt profile, with lots of caramel, dry English bready malt, and a toxic of sugars. Very simple malt profile, a bit too sweet, but nothing egregious; just cheap and rather lame.
