Description
Former name until 2006: "Privatbrauerei Josef Sigl".
The Trumer private brewery, formerly the Josef Sigl private brewery, is located in Obertrum am See near Salzburg and was founded in 1601. In 2006 the name was changed to the current company name. The Trumer private brewery is an eighth generation family business. Beer has been brewed in Obertrum am See since 1601. The brewery has been owned by the Sigl family since 1775 and is currently managed by the eighth generation of Josef C. Sigl.
The brewery uses a tight and - probably - unique and (partly) certified brewing process with 100% natural hops, an open fermentation in open yeast vats and a process of slow brewing (they take the time to let the beer mature).

09/12 Yet another Marko’s, a 0.5l bottle, great thanks for sharing! It poured hazy brownish body with small ivory head. Aroma now really what expected, slightly stale cornflakes, with another unpleasant note. Flavor wasn’t unpleasant, pretty interesting, but weak, some orange and tons of chalky yeast. Short, dough finish. Pretty empty and almost bland. I wasn’t so impressed with it.

Bottle @ home. Hazy, golden yellow appearance with a white head. A bit skunky, spicy, grassy hoppy, dry pils malty, straw aroma. Crisp, a bit lemon fruity, light vanilla, straw, hay, grassy hoppy flavor. A little boring, slight macro flavor, but overall, not bad. Update: Although drinkable, this became more and more raunchy as I continued to drink. Fuck this.

3rd Wiener Bierfest, Vienna, Austria. Sampled by Kis Salétrom and Szebeni Ászok.

3rd Wiener Bierfest, Vienna, Austria. Sampled by Kis Salétrom and Szebeni Ászok. SZÁ: Ídes, túlságosan is, mi akar ez lenni? Likőőőr? Na, ne. Érdekességet vélek felfedezni benne: körli. Vagy csak már nem vagyok magamnál? Mond meg inkább te. KS: Úszómedence. Tudod, ez kicsit más, mint a Balaton. Ennek klóros a vize.
