Opaque colour and medium-sized creamy brownish head. Toasted, woody, vanilla aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweetish toasted malts, wood, bourbon, toffee in the flavour. Somewhat simple but solid. Good.

(Keg at Juova, 20260723) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey, spiciness and floralness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, floralness, spiciness, grass, earth and bitterness. Aftertaste had floralness, earth and bitterness. A good and balanced spicy brew.

440ml can. Opaque, darkest brown colour with huge, dense, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, tan head. Not overly intense, chocolately, dark malty and mildly spicy aroma, notes of cocoa, dark chocolate, whiffs of white coffee, vanilla, cinnamon, tonka. Taste is roasty, slightly spicy, dark malty and bitter, slightly earthy, fruity hoppy, notes of dark cocoa, salty liquorice, a touch of dark and burnt caramel, toffee, blueberry; earthy, herbal hoppy and bitter, dark chocolately finish.
Creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation.
Bitter, salty, a tad disharmonious and heterogeneous - not bad, but equally not really inviting, a bit demanding.

Tap at Haka, Helsinki. Colour is very cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, hops and malts.

440ml can. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, dense, creamy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity, minimally herbal-grassy, hoppy and minimally doughy yeasty aroma, pale malty background, notes of lemon, a touch of orange peel, watermelon. Taste is slightly spicy, pale malty, slightly bitter, citrusy fruity and minimally doughy yeasty, notes of lemon, hints of melon, a touch of brioche, herbal and almost minimally salty spicy overtones.
Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, dense, foamy, mildly prickly carbonation.
Well hopped, rather spicy - nice.

440ml can. Jet black colour with average to huge, creamy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, dark beige head. Roasty, dark malty, smoky and caramel malty as well as slightly bready, malty aroma, notes of pumpernickel, dark caramel, hints of treacle, smoked wood, smoked sausage, coffee overtones. Taste is roasty, dark malty, smoky malty and slightly caramel malty, moderately bitter, mildly grassy hoppy, minimally diluted hints of dark caramel, hints of smoked wood, a touch of wood ashes, some roasty and hoppy bitterness, subtle residual sweetness, minimally metallic overtones with a touch of iron rust.
Slightly oily, watery texture, smooth and dry, almost a bit metallic-repellent palate, medium to fine, dense, foamy, prickly carbonation.
Well crafted, nice, well balanced composition, surprisingly refreshing and drinkable considering the "bulky", "cumbrous" malt flavours - enjoyable.
