Rocky white head left a loose top on a hazy dull golden coloured body.
Muted stone fruit aroma.
Medium bodied, foamy, airy & cloying.
Nectarine, mango, boiled sweets & tropical fruit tastes with a sweet finish.
A bit too sweet.

Cask at the Nag’s Head, Reading on 20th September 2025. Almost impenetrably black with tan foam and partial lacing. Rich and intense roastiness in aroma. Lush roasty malts in-mouth with smoky spices - some subtle others bold. A coffee and smoky spice finish. Smooth yet engaging mouthfeel, and plenty of body. Exquisite.

Deadication beer to Huey Newton, co-founder of the Black Panther Party, died on this day in 1989. More than hoppy golden ale in my opinion, on the boundaries of pale ale. Nevertheless it's a sessionable, mildly hazy brew with hints of tropical fruit.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear gold beer, a few off white bubbles never form a head. Light palate, smooth with a surprising light viscosity. Light smooth pale malts. Smooth cooling pine. Candyish lime led tropical fruits and stone fruits, slightly resinous. Papaya emerging. A hop spice is bubbling underneath and really comes forth. Trace of esters. Juicy and hop fruity but, pretty quirky with it. Alright though.
