On tap at Brouwerij Troost, Amsterdam on 19th March 2015. Cloudy amber with yellowy-white creamy foam top and full lacing. Intensely citric aroma with bitter orange peel. Citric theme continues in-mouth with peel and delicate herbiness. Grass and bitter herb notes dominate the finish. Fair-bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

On tap at Brouwerij Troost, Amsterdam on 19th March 2015. Gold with off-white, part-lacing film. Hoppy aroma with cheese notes. Richly grassy hops and savoury notes in-mouth. A hoppy and grassy finish of somewhat brief duration. Light-bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

On tap at Brouwerij Troost, Amsterdam on 19th March 2015. Red to copper with quickly decaying off-white foam and no lacing. Caramel malt aroma with toffee flavours. Spicy caramel and citrus in-mouth with lemon and herb touches. Finish becomes dry and hoppy with spices and grassy herbs. Surprisingly light texture and body.

Tap sample at Troost. Hazy deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of loads of phenols and esters, chemical, alcohol, spices, malts, grain. Flavour is grainy, fruity, alcoholic, esters, phenols, bitter finish. Medium bodied at best. Not great. Glad I asked for a sample.

On tap at Troost. Hazy orange amber colour, white head. Aroma is hoppy, spicy, medium sweet, light fruity, malty. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, leafy, tea, hoppy, light spicy, fairly bitter finish with some sugar. Light to medium bodied. Starts off nice, becomes a bit boring the more you drink.

[ As Troost Saison ].Unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, pale malt - wheat, moderate yeasty, saison yeast, spicy, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light light moderate bitter with a average duration, fruity, saison yeast, pale malt, mineraels. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Hazy brown colour, off-white head. Arima of banana, caramel, malts, honey, quite sweet. Sweet malty flavour, caramel, red fruits. Sweet finish, honey, caramel, light toast.

Slightly hazy dark brown colour, off-white head. Malty aroma, caramel, hops, citrus, toast, resin. Bitter flavour, hops, tropical fruits, resin. Bitter finish, malts, resin. Nice beer, not very typical dipa, but very enjoyable.
