Description
In 2013 we brewed beer for the first time in our first brewery in the Amsterdam Pijp. We now make award-winning beers, soft drinks and from beer what is left over we distil gin and gin again. We make everything ourselves, as local as possible and completely organic because that is better for our beer and for the planet. Our breweries are located in the most beautiful places in the middle of Amsterdam. Not at all efficient of course, but all the more fun!

0.33 l can from 'OnderNulPuntVijf', canned in October 2020. Very hazy, amber with a thin, fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, quite spicy aroma of coriander, banana and orange peel. Just slightly sweet, quite dry, gently fruity-floral, moderately spicy taste of grains, coriander, orange peel, some banana and traces of rubber, followed by a short, gently bitter, fairly dry, minimally chalky finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent, average to lively carbonation. Quite okay actually, a bit too dry though.

Rechtstreeks uit blik, van Troost Westergas. Ruikt goed hoppig, grapefruit, redelijk typisch N/A luchtje erbij maar niet storend. Smaak is licht, iets granig, citrus, hop, grapefruit, redelijk bittere finish. Lichte body. OK.

Nachtzwart slootwater met lichtbruin schuim. Gebrande mouten, houtskool, vleugje bourbon, tikje peat. Beetje dunne body maar wel een lekker geblakerd smaakje. Geen vette bacon rauchmalt maar verbrande toast met vanille.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of sweet ripe red fruit, cherry, oak, smoke, vanilla, burned caramel and chocolate. Taste has tanninic red fruit, vineus oak, vanilla, smoke, buttery caramel, chocolate, some tart and cherry. Seems a bit infected with these tannines, tastes more like red wine barrel instead of bourbon. Not bad, but messy and somewhat failed.

33 cl. can @ Blast Galaxy, Amsterdam. Drank straight from the can. Nice tropical fruit aroma. Sweet taste and finish. Quite thin body which is a bit of a letdown.
