Description
In 2013 we brewed beer for the first time in our first brewery in the Amsterdam Pijp. We now make award-winning beers, soft drinks and from beer what is left over we distil gin and gin again. We make everything ourselves, as local as possible and completely organic because that is better for our beer and for the planet. Our breweries are located in the most beautiful places in the middle of Amsterdam. Not at all efficient of course, but all the more fun!

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Chocolate, dried fruit and vanilla in the aroma and flavor. Malty sweet, bourbon. Soft roast, coughing syrup. Somewhat lacking in balance.

Hazy medium amber colour, good two finger frothy off-white head, dissipating slowly, good lacing. Aroma wheat, yeast, light banana, golden berry, cloves. Medium sweet and slightly bitter, wheaty, fruity, yeasty, average duration. Light bitter finish, earthy and dusty notes, medium body, watery to oily texture, average carbonation. Not well-balanced, especially the rather bland finish is not convincing...

Drank from the can in the cinema, so I don't really have an opinion on the appearance, but presumably it's black with a brownish head...Aroma's are sweet, roasted, coffee, dark chocolate, perhaps a touch of mint. Flavour is rather sweet, but also roasted, coffee-ish, a hint of sourness too. Slick mouthfeel, quite full bodied. Roasted and moderate bitter finish.
