Tap @ Brewpub. Dark color, short head. Aroma of coffee, chocolat. Sweet taste, bitter as well, chocolat again, some roasted malt, coffee. Very nicely balanced and the chocolat tones are the ones I like. Very nice beer.

Tap @ Brewpub. Slightly hazy redbrown color, short head. Aroma of hops, some caramel malt, not really strong. Slightly bitter. Not really outspoken IPA. Decent balance, but it lacks some complexity.

Tap @ Brewpub. Hazy light brown color, short off-white head. Aroma of sweet wood (what’s in a name), some milk chocolate. Light belgian double taste, with sweet chocolat overwhelming together with the sweet wood. Quite odd taste, so that’s why it’s not really popular (looking at the ratings), but I quite liked it actually.

Tap @ Brewpub: I cannot find the Jacques Brel Blond which I drank, but I assume this one is quite the same. Quite standard blond belgian ale, however no fruit/citrus. Bit more yeasty, grainy and malty blond. Not my type of beer.

Tap @ brewpub. Clear orange golden color, short head. Aroma of sweet hop, flowers, soft. Bitter taste. Nothing special, but the balance is good and that makes it a fine beer.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a black color with a tan head. Roasted malty aroma with some hints of chocolate. Roasted malty flavor with hints of chocolate and coffee. Also some yeasty hints. Roasted malty finish.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a hazy amber color with an off-white head. Hoppy malty citrus aroma. Sweet malty citrus flavor. Sweet malty finish with hints of hops and citrus in the aftertaste.
