Slight haze on bright yellow. Bottle from JRs. So, how do you make an APA taste somewhat like an IPA? An that has the taste of bitter grapefruit rind? Add grapefruit. This is what it is. I thought it would be like a radler but no, its a bitter APA brew with bitter grapefruit rind in place of the real hops. Smells somewhat like grapefruit too. Hey, did I say grapefruit anywhere in this rating? Decent carbonation. Perhaps a little astringent in the end. Next.

Keg at The Old Fashioned. Black, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of coffee, roast, molasses. Taste is raisin, chocolate, anise, roast, cherries. Medium bodied, a little harsh.
