Bottle at the Artisan Tap, Bedford. Dark gold/copper, thin but lively white head. Light floral and resinous aroma with a strong malty note. Pleasant taste, much sweeter than many IPAs but there’s some pronounced bitterness at the end. Gummy resin dominates the aftertaste. Good enough.

Bottle shared by Bob, thanks! Pours a clear golden orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma smells of pumpkin pie and sweet grains with sweet peach and a good amount of spice. Flavor has sweet pumpkin pie note with a bit of must and a hint of peach.

355ml bottle. Mostly clear golden colour with a small creamy white head, looks suspiciously like a lager. Mild aroma, the wheat and orange peel, and a small amount of coriander, isn’t strong at all. Again the flavour is very mild for a wheat beer, with the wheat there’s a light citrus taste, hops, yeast. Fairly watery mouthfeel. Overall this felt really ’light’ for a wheat beer, not much different to a lager, it’s not at all bad but it’s disappointing.

Tap madmex. Better than expected. Had a nice perfumy punky smell. Yes, strong initially with alky laced whisky punch. Not too bad, may I say better than most pumpkin beers. Finish is medium spice.
