Nose, is toast, slight biscuit, cherry, slight lactose; all underpowered. Taste coffee, licorice, cherry and fruits some pepper and spice in the finish. Mouthfeel is quite full but over carbonate. It’s OK.

Bottle. Gold color and low carbonation. Quite a bit of cinnamon, and sweet flavor. This tastes very much like non alcoholic cider. Enjoyable.

355ml bottle from Morrisons. A bright copper colour with a thin translucent head; fruity aroma; soft fruity taste with a pleasant green hoppiness, giving a touch of spice to the finish. there’s also some warming alcohol. A long way off what we expect from an American IPA nowadays, but nevertheless a pleasant beer.

355ml bottle of Point Amber Lager from Morrisons. Golden amber with a loose white head; malty aroma; soft, sugary caramel malt taste; and some stewed hops to finish. Not great.

Can thanks to FlandersNed. Pours dark brown with off white head. Nose and taste of tea, clove, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, toast and light cocoa. Nice mix of spices. Lighter medium body.

Bottle from Morrisons. Hazy amber body with a thin off-white head. Average carbonation. Nice lacing. Clean aroma, but not a huge amount going on. Flavour is grain, faint caramel and green hops. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation. Not the most complex or interesting beer but it’s well balanced, drinkable hoppier than your average Lager.

Single bottle from HyVee, originally "Point 2012.". Pours, well, like a bottled stout. Black beer under a big tan to brown head. I can’t give too much props to the smell, because it is very, very light; just nothing wrong. Taste is a solid, though admittedly unremarkable schwarzbier. The expected dry lager finish kind of prevents the black malt character from asserting itself. Some ups for having a definite malty feel that leaves my lips a little sticky. And I am getting fonder of this brewski as I go further into it.

Bottle from Morrisons. Clear amber. Thick, off white head that soons disappears. Initial aromas are sweet biscuit malt and some grapefruit bitterness. It all soon turns a tad sickly sweet and hard going after that, though.
