Light brown. Simple malt aroma and lightly sweet malt flavor. No flaws but there is nothing to enjoy either. Less flavorful than a good oktoberfest.

A light dunkel. Light roasted aroma and flavor of lightly roasted barley, butter, and nuts. Thin. Not bad for the dollar I paid for it.

Even for an American wheat this is bad. Point makes a great wit, but puts none of that skill into this crappy beer. Looks like a pale lager, considerable carbonation and no head. Light corn aroma. Just a hint of wheat in the flavor, and the smallest touch of citrus. Thin and watery.

2005 bottle as a bonus from CharlesDarwin, consumed on 12/30/2005. Upon opening, DMS is practically flying off the beer. As well, there are some light tea leaves and a growing caramel-toffee, rather English in nature. Amber body is clear, with a beige head, mostly diminishing to cover/ring. DMS leaves fairly quickly and in place, a fruity yeast and sticky toffee. Toffee aroma remains rich and full, with tea-like herbal hops in the background. Flavor is quite toffeeish (butter toffee, English toffee, what have you), with light toasted grains, earthy, almost mossy, plant-like hops. A light note of citrus on the finish, as it warms, seems in slight contrast to the butter toffee, but it is a minor complaint. Body is medium, carbonation quite low and the texture rather plain, light chewiness to light creaminess at times, and not overly filtered. Is this really 8 abv? No sign on that.

Very light. Yellow. A pale lager body with the smallest addition of sweet taste. Not unpleasant; best cold.

A decent pale ale. Simple. Unremarkable hop aroma but decent hop bitterness. Some light fruit in the flavor. Fairly smooth and easy to drink.

This is a disappointment. Sweet aroma and sweet flavor but everything seems off; there is little "bock" quality to this beer. Looks good with a dark red color.

This lager is a small step above average. There is nothing wrong with it, but little to enjoy. It does have good palate and is fairly smooth. Better than most.

Bottled. U.S. Beer 29 of 31 for American Beer Month! This was the last of a discounted six at the store, so it may be a little old. So there’s a slightly skunky oxidized smell (thanks, green bottle). But it covers up a halfway decent German lager smell. Pours light gold with very little head. Lighly malted taste with a distinct bitterness places it at least a notch above BMC swill. Slight dead yeast taste, too. Anyway, it’s nice and fizzy, and I’ll re-rate a fresher bottle when I get my chance.

A thin, watery beer with little aroma. The color is red/brown. Flavor of very light malt. Not much flavor. Very light palte. In line with a low quality Vienna such as Dos Equis.
