Heavily carbonated. Brown. There is a roasted flavor with lots of malt and the taste of alcohol. Unimpressive.

A not-so bad lager. Dark caramel/red color with a thin white head. Light malty aroma. Flavor is sweet and malty, though thin like the body. If this was cheaper, it would make a good macroswill.

An orange beer with no head. The flavor is sweet and malty. The flavor is thin, slightly sweet and malty with no bitterness. Its a little sour with notes of brewmash in the end. A below average pilsener - but a good thirstquencher.

Bought it, because i've never seen it before. It was a horrible beer. One of the worst tasting beers I've ever had. With a mix of staleness and metal, it was a definate loser. Do NOT try it!

Very clearly one of the top major beers exported from Mexico, and one I should drink more often when I see it on restaurant menus. Pours a bright red-brown with a nice bubbly head. There's a light musty caramel aroma. The flavor is better than the aroma though, with clean sweet-caramel/toffee malt palate. Light balancing bitterness in the finish. Interestingly the flavor is full but the body is light, giving a very drinkable balanced beer.

Yellow, thin white head. Light taste and light body. Use a lime with this one.

Bottled. Corona Light? I didn't think it was even possible... Slightly metallic water with a extremely light hint of corn and a whole lot of fizz. --- Beer merged from original tick of Light on 22 Feb 2002 at 10:19 - Score: Appearance - 2 | Aroma - 1 | Flavor - 1 | Texture - 2 | Overall - 2. Original review text: This is ridiculous. Already the standard Modelo is empty as water. This beer is som empty that I'm afraid the can shall implode.

Golden with hardly any head. Flavorless unless you add a lime. I can enjoy a few of these on a hot day.

Quite light blond flavour. Bad flavour. Little bitter. God, have mercy for the Mexicans, because this is their best-selling beer.

Dark amber color; poor head persistence. Hop and metallic sensation in the nose. Dry, light taste, with a lot of caramel and a residual sweetness in the middle. Pretty watery final.
