Take a Hike!®

Inspired by the 273-mile hiking trail that traverses through the Green Mountains, Long Trail Brewing Company has been a caretaker of Vermont craft since 1989. Moved and motivated by the local culture and surroundings, we work hard to create beers worthy of our Vermont roots. From small batch recipes developed in our farmhouse-turned-pilot-brewery to wider ranging staples like our flagship Long Trail Ale and freshly formulated Trail Hopper IPA, our brewers are committed to crafting a trail-worthy family of beers.

Pours hazy with a thick white head. Immediate aroma of hops, perhaps some mosaic and amarillo. Taste is intensely resinous with a distinct palate that includes pine and citrus. Interesting IPA, appearance and aroma doesn't match the taste, not necessarily a bad thing.

Pours hazy amber with a thick, fluffy head. Aroma of sweet malt and fruit. Taste is hoppy, the variety of hops used is unique and brings with it passionfruit and other tropical notes. Palate is woody, contains more of the sweet malt and guava. Unexpectedly fruity, really good.
