Whew, how many of these wild sour is dehstil going to make? Every time I turn around, there are a couple new ones on the shelf at the bottle shop. This two buck fitty can pours near clear pale. Yes, a nice nose of lime. First taste is tart with lime fer sher, also good level of carbonation on the palate. Yes tart lime with some sizzle. Not sher if I'd call this a gose, probably more like a sour. Its lacking in the salt character to call it a gose and its more sour than a real gose, JMHO. Still, its very enjoyable and quite refreshing. I like key lime pie but this is more tart than what I would say key lime pie possesses. Comparatively, this is much more pleasing than that stupid ass destihl blueberry crumble gose I had the other day.

Every time I turn around, there's another new one of these dessy wild sour available. Must be a good seller for them. This 3$ can from chalet pours something like light orange with a little bit of haze. Mild berry nose? Not sure. First taste is nothing expected; first off it has this weird medium phenolic bite to it. To call it a gose is misleading. Very difficult to find any tartness or salt in this mess. To say its a sour is also misleading. I just wonder if I just got a bad batch. Blueberry? Where is that? Nobody knows! I've had lots of these wild sour destihls and none were this bad. Very disappointing. Good example of 'you can't judge a beer by its label' ! Yea, it was hard to find any positive attributes at all in this one. I can't really find any vanilla in this and maybe its the vanilla that's throwing it all off?

From Beer Drop, canned December 5th 2025.
Pours a slightly hazy orange yellow with a very small head of foam, lacing and retention are decent.
Smell is big lime and big vanilla, lactose aromas aren't far behind.
Taste is tart lime, vanilla, lactose, not as prevalent, overall, as what the smell suggested.
Light bodied, I have another can but after that, I don't need to drink this again.
