Aromas are pale malt with some resin hops. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose with old resin hops, a little citrus and unbalanced bitter, sweet and carbonation. One and done.

12 ounce can from Niemuth's, 1/31/23. The Lakefront NA Stein Beer is an excellent NA beer, so I'm looking forward to this. Clear amber, medium off-white head, good retention. Aroma of dank, earth, grapefruit. Taste is dank, resin, earth, citrus pith. Strong bitterness. Nice. Feel like the flavor could be a tad bit rounder but this is a nice NA beer.

12 oz bottle, 1/12/23, bottled 5/4/22. Clear gold beer, with a small, fizzy head. Strongly lime and barrel on the aroma and flavor. Kind of a weird feel. Boozy and thin. Weird. Not really my thing, but not bad. Weird overall.

12 oz bottle of unknown origin, 1/11/23. Clear rusty orange color with a thin head. Sweet caramel, toffee, grains, and dough. Decent mouthfeel, slightly sticky. Solid beer.

Bottled. Deep reddish ambery colour with a mediumsized foamy off-white head. Aroma is caramel, some fruity and floral hops along with mild roasted and toast with some slight toffee as well. Flavour is quite bitter floral and fruity notes with some grass as well as some slight roasted and toasted notes to it. Also some mellow toffee.

12oz bottle. Vanilla leads and sort of dominates. What seems like a solid Baltic Porter underneath it. This sort of drinks like the big brother to City Lights Vanilla Porter. Enjoyable enough, probably a lot better without the vanilla addition.

Keg at Dublin's Oshkosh, Darkest Day 2022 event, 12/17/22. Black, large tan head, good retention. Aroma of cocoa, coffee, oak, mild whiskey and cotton candy. Taste is raisin, coffee, oak, anise, roast. Moderate booze. A bit thin for the style. Surprise of the event and expectations definitely exceeded.

12oz bottle. Clean, true, lovely medium-bodied Dunkel. Not as dark as most American examples. Rich, sweet malt tone...more depth than most. Balanced too, faint hop tone. Not sticky, unattenuated. Really nice, better than I had anticipated.

12oz bottle. Was excited about this one as soon as I heard about it and it didn't let me down. Sweet, full bodied. Dark fruit, raisin, fig, caramel, brown sugar. Lots of depth, nuance. Good.

Tap at Drunk Uncle. A rather monstrous dessert beer type creature. Brandy leads, wheat-wine barleywine behind it, sugary booze coating all of it. Apricot is artificial tasting, but gives it some nuance. Has some barleywine soul. OK.
