12 ounce bottle from Woodman's Appleton, 7/26/20. Orange amber, mostly clear thin foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of honey, citrus, biscuity pale malt. Taste is orange, lemon, honey, toast. Medium bodied, mild bitterness. Good honey character throughout. Nice.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Odi. Clear golden. Citric hops, slightly stale, a bit of malt, bitter finish. Decent.

12 ounce bottle from Woodman's Appleton, 4/11/20. Clear copper, medium tan head, good retention. Aroma of toffee, earth, and a fruity note. Taste is caramel, toffee, tea leaves, and something reminding me of a candy I can't quite recall. Medium bodied, crisp, low bitterness.

12oz bottle. Filtered copper-amber body. Thin, respectable, off-white head. Nice balance, pleasant malt depth, nice mild bitter hop edge. Notes of toffee, vanilla-cherry(amber malt), gingerbread. Clean, easy drinking. Good.

12 ounce bottle from Woodman's Appleton, 4/5/20. This must have been on a hiatus as I never saw it when I lived in Milwaukee for nearly 3 years. Hazy orange, thin white head. Aroma of wheat, honey, citrus, a bit of spice. Taste is wheat, floral notes, honey, apricot. Medium bodied, crisp. A bit on the sweet side but nice.

Growler scooped up before Shellac in Milwaukee. Sort of greyed, unfiltered orange-tan body. Certainly not as thick or opaque as typical. It really isn't that juicy, mild hop tone. Not bitter I suppose, but not juicy either...like most cryo hops it seems to lack real depth. Drinks sort of like a Pale Ale. OK.

Keg at Bazil's, 3.7.20. Slightly hazy gold large creamy white head good retention. Aroma of grape skins, butter, dandelion pale malt. Taste is grape and lots of butter. Some floral notes. Medium bodied, slick, low carb. A miss.

Growler from the brewery. Hazy pale peach-tan body. Steady, glass lacing, white head. My first fruited Kveik IPA I believe, and I generally like it better than a non Kveik version. Full bodied, zesty, not unlike a Belgian IPA at times, but the esters seem more under control, less hairspray and soap tone. The mango and guava aspect is pretty mild too, and certainly not syrupy. Pretty good.
